About Culture Days

Culture Days is a collaborative coast-to-coast grassroots movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians of all ages in the Arts and Culture of their communities.

With the support of a National Steering Committee and volunteer Provincial and Territorial Committees, artists, cultural workers, organizations, groups, volunteers and supporters self-mobilize to host free participatory public activities that take place in major cities and towns throughout the country over the last weekend of September each year.

The fourth edition of Culture Days will take place on September 27th, 28th and 29th. Anyone can organize and host an activity to mark the occasion. Activities can include various aspects of culture: visual arts, music, history, photography, dance, heritage, craft, gardens, etc.

Last year more than 90 activities took place in the province.

Activities are free and open to the public. New Brunswickers wanting to organize and host a Culture Days event can register on the Culture Days website. Various Culture Days promotional material can be downloaded from the website free of charge.

The New Brunswick Culture Days Committee, composed of various volunteers from across the arts and culture community in the province, helps activity organizers by offering them a platform to promote their event (via the official website, social media and other promotional efforts).
