Paul Hébert
Hailing from Rogersville, NB, Paul Hébert is one of the few references in francophone bluegrass. The daily L’Acadie Nouvelle even gave him the nickname of Le roi du bluegrass en Acadie (the king of bluegrass in Acadie). Paul grew up in a family that was passionate about music. He first learned to play the guitar and performed mostly traditional music. After learning to play the mandolin, it became his instrument of choice during his performances.

In 1995 and 1996, he was a finalist at the Gala de la chanson de Caraquet, a francophone singer songwriter talent contest, in the singer songwriter category. He has since been honing his craft and released two albums Ravages du temps (2001) and Les pauvres riches (2007). He is a recurring guest on the TV show Pour l’amour du country broadcasted on Radio-Canada, TV5, and ARTV.
