The White Rabbit Open Air Art Project is now accepting proposals from artists.
White Rabbit is art in the landscape. Artists live and work in community for one week at a beautiful farm in Nova Scotia. The residency culminates in a one-day public exhibition of the week’s in progress and completed pieces.
When: August 13th-20th, 2011.
Where: Red Clay (Upper Economy), Nova Scotia.

The cost for participants is $250 for submissions received prior to May 1st and covers 6 days including workshops by invited senior artists and all meals, accommodations (camping along stream plus a limited number of loft spaces), use of site facilities and available tools. Food will be fresh and locally sourced, prepared on-site daily by our talented chefs.
Interested artists should submit the following before May 1st (to be considered for the $250 participant cost). Submissions received after that date will be considered if space permits at the full cost of $325.
All registration fees must be paid by May 31.
To be considered for White Rabbit, please submit:
– a brief description (maximum 1 page) of your proposed project during White Rabbit – include key ideas you will be exploring as well as possible tools that you’ll need access to.
– a brief artist biography and including your current place of residence, previous work and media (1 page max).
