WordsFall in Miramichi

Sheree Fitch

Sheree Fitch, Wayne Curtis, and Ray Fraser are among the authors who will gather in Miramichi, NB, on Saturday, October 16, for the 25th anniversary celebration of the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick.

This special edition of WordsFall will be held at the historic Beaverbrook House and begins with a workshop on self-publishing, followed by a tribute to the federation’s founding members and readings from new books by Fitch, Curtis, Allan Donaldson, Cameron Gunn and Deborah Carr.

The event moves to the Goodie Shop Restaurant for an open mic coffee house where more authors, including Carla Gunn, Ray Fraser, Doug Underhill and Allan Cooper, will be joined by storytellers and musicians for an evening of story and song.

David Adams Richards also plans to attend the festivities which, except for the workshop, are open to the public at no charge.
