Grammy-nominated country group, Eli Young Band will perform at Casino New Brunswick in Moncton on Saturday, May 31 at 8 pm.

Set to release their highly anticipated sophomore album, 10,000 Towns (Republic Nashville) on Tuesday, March 4, the Eli Young Band are four musicians who met during their college days in Texas. Now, 11 years into a career built on touring without a single lineup change, their dedication is paying off and the band is enjoying a new level of success.

The soon to be released album has already produced a chart-topping single with the lead release, “Drunk Last Night”, available on iTunes.

The band received their first platinum record for their song, “Crazy Girl” and sold over 1.5 million downloads of the track. “Crazy Girl” is a perfect introduction to Life At Best, a 14-track album that takes the band’s wide-ranging multi-genre influences and distills them into a focused, engaging vision: edgy country with hints of heartland rock bands such as Tom Petty and classic Eagles.

The members of Eli Young Band wrote or co-wrote nine of the 14 tracks, drawing on their collective experiences as musical partners and growing individuals. They referenced their struggles as a band, the pitfalls of relationships, the complexities of family heritage and the difficulties of simply being human. Despite digging into hardship, they transmitted it with an unerring sense of optimism.

Opening for the likes of Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean and the Dave Matthews Band, the band has now reached a level where it regularly sells out 5,000-seat venues on its own in southwest United States and 3,000-seaters in other areas of the nation.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, February 7 at 10 am. Tickets range from $45.99 to $75.99 (plus tax and applicable surcharge) and will be available at the Casino Gift Shop (located at 21 Casino Drive in Moncton, exit #450 off the Trans-Canada Highway), by calling 1-866-943-8849 and online at casinonb.ca/casino/
