Since its inception, nearly 70 TNB Theatre School alumni have gone on to careers or professional training in theatre. Hundreds of others have gained confidence, public speaking skills and lifelong friendships.

“When I was a young student considering a career in theatre nearly 25 years ago, there was no pre-professional training available,” says TNB Artistic Producer, Caleb Marshall. “Today looking at the TNB Theatre School alumni working on stage and behind the scenes producing theatre in Fredericton and across the country, seeing our former students come through the door at our professional auditions in Toronto, it’s a huge testament to the excellence of the training and the quality of the instructors at TNB Theatre School.”

This year the fall registration will be held in conjunction with the TNB Theatre School Annual Screening of Spring Productions at the Ted Daigle Auditorium.

“It’s become a tradition for our students to come together for a day at the end of summer to watch the videos of the spring productions,” says Breen. “We start with our Junior Musical Theatre screening at 1 pm and go straight through to the evening screening of Senior Musical Theatre’s West Side Story. It’s a chance for the TNB Theatre School community to celebrate one another’s work and look forward to the new year ahead. For parents and students who may be curious about our programs and what we offer, we welcome them to pop by the screening to get a taste of the calibre of the TNB Theatre School experience and our productions.”

After August 25th, telephone (506)460-1381 ext 106 or email theatreschool@tnb.nb.ca to register or book an audition. Intermediate and Senior auditions will be held in September. Information on audition requirements can be found on the TNB Theatre School’s Register or Audition Page.
