The grown-up in me says Christmas is all about the family and sharing. But the child in me says it’s all about the magic and believing in the spirit of giving. They seem pretty balanced in my opinion, so I offer up this photo that sums up Christmas.

Monica de Moss is a member of the Chaleur Camera Club. She has been exploring the art of photography since 2007. Although she had her first camera at the age of 17 and knew she enjoyed taking pictures, it wasn’t until Monica retired from the Canadian Forces that she began to study pictures in detail. Monica has sold her photography to collectors across the Maritimes and as far west as Alberta. You can see more of Monica’s work by visiting her Flickr site.
Monica, I can’t wait to get up your way for a visit to all the galleries and to get to meet you finally in person. I so enjoy all the photography you’ve shared with me so far and I’m really looking forward to seeing more of your work. Happy New Year!
