Family Circus Show Derrière la porte Coming to Moncton

The Capitol Theatre will be hosting the French circus company Tour de cirque and its show Derrière la porte, on Wednesday, September 19, at 6:30 PM. The evening is sure to amaze young and old alike! Tickets are currently on sale at the Capitol Theatre Box Office. This show is presented in collaboration with the Alliance Française de Moncton.

A Scaffolding Story!
Derrière la porte presents a unique meeting of two people on a scaffolding. A metaphor for their own misleading ways, their structure offers them a space for games, various nooks and crannies in which to hide, and thousands of places to explore. The characters are full of surprises, bending time and space, confusing everyone in their way, and will transport the spectators in a dream-like absurd but tender world. The characters will perform with balls, hats, stage magic, magic images and objects manipulations. For more details on this show: www.cirk.fr.

The performers
Farid Abed and Marion Achard were both trained at the Fratellini Circus School. They started travelling around the world in 2000 and have trained since in many circus schools in order to hone their crafts and share their practice. Derrière la porte is their own creation.
