Fredericton Arts Alliance Design-a-Container Contest

Show your creativity! Wow Fredericton with your donation container design!

The Fredericton Arts Alliance (FAA) is in desperate need of a new container for donations; one that is portable and encourages people to support our programs for the arts in Fredericton. At the moment, our donations container is a sad looking glass jar with a paper label taped on it. It’s not very pretty and it doesn’t enhance the FAA as an arts organization.

That’s where YOU come in. We want you to make a new container for us! This contest is open to everybody, including children, adults, artists, non-artists, etc.

Guidelines:

– You must be able to put money in it
– The FAA must be able to easily get the money out
– It must be stable, so it can sit on a flat surface and not roll off
– It must be portable so we can take it to events
– It should clearly indicate that it’s for donations
– It should be creative!

The winner will receive a one year membership to the FAA, and a small cash prize.

Submissions can be dropped off at the Artists in Residence studio in the Soldiers’ Barracks (corner of Queen and Carleton) from until August 13, between 10am – 5pm Mondays to Saturdays, and from noon – 5 pm on Sundays.

Please include your name, phone number and email address with your submission.

The winner will be announced on August 14, 2012.

If you have any questions, or comments, email rachelwatters@gmail.com, or call the FAA phone line at (506) 443-9900.
