Leisa Way’s Rhinestone Cowgirl to be presented at the Capitol Theatre

Leisa Way, The Rhinestone Cowgirl

Former Anne of Green Gables star Leisa Way is headlining the Dolly Parton tribute concert Rhinestone Cowgirl. Accompanied by The Wayward Wind Band, Leisa Way will leave audiences amazed, hugely entertained and clamouring for more on Friday, March 23 at 8 pm at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton (811 Main Street). Tickets are currently on sale from $20.50 to $24.50 plus applicable fees.

Rhinestone Cowgirl: A Tribute to Dolly Parton

Leisa Way bursts onto the stage in a flurry of feathers, fringe and bejewelled finery. The one-liners and commentaries Way delivers throughout the tribute are entertaining and hilarious just like the queen of country herself! However, the real magic lies in hearing Way interpret Dolly’s songs. Backed up by a terrifically talented band which includes: Bruce Ley, Dave Wilson, Randall Kempf, Kim Ratcliffe, and Cape Breton’s Aaron Solomon, Way performs hits from every era of Parton’s career, including: 9 to 5, I Will Always Love You, Jolene, Two Doors Down, Here You Come Again, Coat of Many Colours, Islands in the Stream and Why’d You Come In Here Looking Like That.
