Applications are invited for a 10-month term appointment in the area of Cinema Production at the rank of Instructor III to commence August 1, 2012.

The Department of Media Production and Studies is dedicated to teaching cinema, video and new media in an interdisciplinary environment that encourages growth in creative, critical and mainstream forms. Media Production and Studies at the University of Regina is the only university department between Toronto and Vancouver to offer a BFA degree in Film and Video Production. We also offer BA and BA Honours degrees in Film and Video Studies, a MFA in Media Production and a MA in Media Studies.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in cinema production. Applicants must hold a MFA or other terminal degree, possess teaching experience and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence. A creative portfolio in cinema production that reflects a background in one or more of the following is essential: narrative, experimental, documentary, animation, audio, new media, and screenwriting.
