Nine Pine Truck Stop in Blackville hosted a benefit Saturday night April 4 which raised $325 for the first annual Miramichi Walk for a Cure to Diabetes. Several local musicians and singers including Amy & Friends, Jake Stewart, Thomas Saulnier and more took the stage in a jam session covering everything from classic country to modern rock. Door prizes were awarded throughout the evening.
Organizers wish to thank everyone who came out on Saturday night to support the benefit and especially Huey Hallihan and his staff at Nine Pine for all of their help in putting this event together and their wonderful hospitality.
