Parry Aftab is a security, privacy and cyberspace lawyer, as well as an author and child advocate. When children and the
Internet are concerned, Aftab's name is the first mentioned. She is a world-wide leader in online safety and parent and child
Internet education. As Executive Director of WiredSafety.org, the largest online safety and educational program in cyberspace,
Parry helps prevent and investigate cybercrime. She also works closely with law enforcement around the world to police the
Internet and is part of the Home Office CybercrimeTask Force in the UK.
Parry will provide 3 sessions: one for students, one for law enforcement personnel and educators, and one for parents.
There is no charge for the session on Wednesday evening and all parents and the general public are encouraged to attend. A
question and answer period will follow Parry's presentation. Tea and coffee will be served.
