Scrapbooking Tips
by Alison Gay

Scrapbooking is becoming very popular. This craft has been around for centuries although it has really flourished in
recent years. We now have lots of paper, ribbons, stickers and more great items that are easily used in making beautiful albums,
cards, calendars, tags and other keepsakes. They make excellent gifts as well.

Here are a few scrapbooking tips:
- Organize your photos, sort by theme, date,
year, age, whatever makes it easier for you when it comes time to pick a photo you would like to scrapbook.
- Always store your photos in a cool dry
place away from excessive heat, humidity and sunlight.
- When scrapbooking older photos, ask your
parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles for information that can help you with journaling.
- Use acid free materials and pens.
- Remember, there is no wrong way to scrapbook,
use your imagination and let your creativity shine!

A very good friend of mine introduced me
to scrapbooking a few years ago. She showed me one of her albums that I just loved. Then, she gave me a few items to get started;
needless to say I was instantly hooked. Now, I am the proud owner of a store and a collector of supplies. Scrapbooking is
a great way to spend time with friends and family and it is also a great way to meet new people.
