With spring and summer quickly approaching, brides are busy preparing for one of the most important days of their lives — the day they walk down the aisle to marry the man they love.

Miramichi brides-to-be attended the Wedding Memories 2005 bridal show hosted by Anne Bracken Formal Wear on Sunday January 16th at the Newcastle Lions Centre.

Over 25 businesses from the Miramichi region put everything a bride needs for her wedding under one roof allowing brides to compare prices and see "what’s in" for the upcoming season in wedding dresses and accessories.

Gowns for the entire bridal party were modelled for prospective brides, providing a unique way of shopping for the right dress.

All proceeds from the event went toward community projects sponsored by the Newcastle Lions club.
