Releases Single of Daisy A Day
Tracey (Chopper) Robinson (34), recorded this
song in his garage with his good friend Roy Wright. It is a song that has meant so much to Chopper since he was a small child.
He has fond memories of his grandmother singing this song to him many times over the years.
Daisy
a Day was originally written and recorded by Judd Strunk in 1973, and was a smash hit world-wide.
Judd was killed in a plane crash in his home state of Maine in 1981, leaving us this wonderful song about love
and loss, something we can all relate to. It will also be featured as part of Chopper's full album release in early 2006,
which will include his Irish and Maritime favourites as well as some Miramichi originals.
Chopper started his musical journey while in
University. He picked up a guitar in his second year and is yet to set it down. He has a love for maritime, and Irish folk
tunes, but can belt out just about any genre he pleases.
A lifelong resident of Miramichi, he currently
resides in Loggieville with his wife and two young children. You can see him out and about in this great city taking in the
many community and cultural events that are offered.
Stay tuned for Chopper's next single to be released
soon . . .
