Celebrate Your Irish Annual Dinner and Concert
The Gillis Family plays “Tell My Ma”
Irish jigs and toe tapping music rang through the Beaverbrook Kin Centre on Sunday March 13th at the annual Celebrate Your Irish Dinner and Concert honouring St. Patrick’s Day.

Sponsored by the 48th Annual Miramichi Folksong Festival and the Miramichi Association for Community Living, the event attracted a large crowd who enjoyed many entertainers and plenty of food.

Numerous Irish dishes were served for dinner. Entertainers included the Belletones, Nelson Doyle Dancers, Colleen Estey and Jody Robichaud, The Gillis Family, Fiddling Barber Norman Young, Jimmy Lawlor, Carol Mitchell, Mary Butler and Susan Butler.

Mae and Joe Fournier were declared the most Irish, winning the prize for wearing the most green.
