New Business Launched in Richibucto

Andy Hawkins spent 10 years learning and refining his skills in the UK before marrying local Richibucto girl, Joanne Robichaud, and moving to Canada in 2002.

After spending time in Ontario and Alberta, Richibucto’s newest resident has decided to offer his services to home users and local businesses alike, under the banner of Richibucto Computer Services (RCS).

“I’ve always put my clients understanding at the top of the list,” explains Andrew. “People are often intimidated by the jargon and techno-speak that comes out of the big-box stores. I’m not at all like that. It’s important that people understand why they have certain problems in order to avoid them in the future. Educating my customers and helping them to help themselves makes my job easier and saves them money. I want to empower them, while offering them the tools they need, as well as a safety net, at a competitive price.”

With plans to expand the scope of RCS’s offerings to include the supply of paper products, printer consumables, software and some hardware, Andrew remains focused on quality of service.

“I don’t want to offer my customers something and then fail to deliver. The supplies side will wait until all the pieces are in place and I’m able to offer my clients the kind of pricing and service that I expect to receive myself. When they are, people and businesses in Kent County will finally have access to the products they need at prices they deserve.”

RCS currently specialises in computer repairs, installation, upgrades, web design, hosting and maintenance. The list of services they offer continues to grow and evolve with the company.
