Miramichi Business Community Gearing up for AGMs
The final week of January will be a busy one for members of the local business
community as they attend a series of Annual General Meetings.
The week kicks off with the Downtown Miramichi Business Network Annual
General Meeting on Monday, January 26th.
Bread ‘n Molasses Publisher and owner of INM Group, Terry
Matchett, will speak on the topic "Building a Mighty Community -- One Business at a Time."
Hot and cold buffet is on the menu. Cocktails and Entertainment begin at
6 p.m. followed by Dinner and the Meeting at 7 p.m. The event is being held in the Kinsmen Centre, Downtown Miramichi.
On Thursday, January 29th at the Rodd Miramichi River Hotel,
the Greater Miramichi Chamber of Commerce and Historic Water Street Business District will hold a joint Annual General Meeting.
Ken Kelly, President of Downtown New Brunswick and General Manager of Downtown
Moncton Inc., will present "Fast Forward to the Future" in his keynote address.
Each group will host their respective meetings when the event begins at
6:30 p.m. followed by Cocktails at 7 p.m. and dinner with the accompaniment of Ron Doiron on piano at 7:30 p.m.
This event is open to the general public. Tickets are available at Bill’s
