Beating the Odds
Earlier this summer the Rotary Club in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, held
a Hole in One Golf Tournament. Arthur Tardif from St. Anne drove his ball 165 yards to win a Chevrolet Pick-up worth $55,000.
His wife Denise was playing with him at the time. Screams of excitement could be heard as the ball rolled into the hole. Jane
Tepper and Francine Kanhai were sitting beside the hole and witnessed the ball as it rolled in. They were excited and happy
to see someone win. The odds are one in 100,000.
