Fundraising Gala Auction On the evening of February 19, 2005 the Miramichi Natural History Association will hold an auction to raise funds for the continued operation of the Miramichi Natural History Museum.   This Incorporated Association has been in existence since 1888 and the Museum was constructed in 1909. The Museum displays hundreds of natural, historical, social and cultural artifacts from the Miramichi, North-Eastern New Brunswick and various parts of the world. It is operated by a group of volunteers who are finding it increasingly difficult to keep the doors open with diminishing municipal and provincial funding.   The evening will be a Gala affair with wine and cheese and the music of the Uptown Jazz Quartet. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your guests to attend our fundraising Gala at the Miramichi River Rodd Hotel to ensure the future of our Miramichi Heritage.
