Family Traditions

For our 50th wedding anniversary we had each of our children (9) write a short article about their hopes for the future and I put them all in a notebook. It's fun to go over them and read what our children hope the future will hold for them and their families.

Also, one Christmas, I had all of them write an article about their childhood. They were hilarious. One wrote about how he invented the slip and slide before Hasbro Toys did but he didn't do anything to get it copyrighted. We had a big bathroom and they'd put soapy water all over the floor and then slip and slide on it. They thought we didn't know about it!
