Name the Foal Contest
Calling all youth!
Canada's national police force is asking for help
from young Canadians to name six foals that will be born this spring at the RCMP breeding farm in Pakenham, Ontario.
Some of these horses may one day be part of the world famous Musical Ride!
Children will have to use their creativity and imagination to find original
names for these foals. To assist the RCMP with the naming of its foals, youngsters must:
1) Submit only one name per envelope. Names must begin with the letter
"A" and cannot be any longer than 6 letters.
2) Print their name, age, address and telephone number, and the foal's
suggested name on a piece of paper.
3) Be under 14 years of age and a resident of Canada.
4) Mail their entry to:

For school entries, please follow steps 1 to 4, and indicate on box or
envelop "School Entry" or online at http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/musicalride/foal2003_e.htm
Children who submit entries will be eligible to win a framed photo of the
foal they have named, a kid-size "Stetson" and a poster signed by the Musical Ride members.
Entries must be received before or be post-marked June 13, 2003.
Winners will be announced on July 7, 2003, and their names will be posted
on the RCMP website.
Winning names will be chosen by instructors of the RCMP Musical Ride Branch.
